The data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. You can find its contact details in this website’s site notice.
How do we collect your data?
On the one hand, your data is collected through your communicating it to us. This can be data that you enter in a contact form, for example.
Other data is automatically collected by our IT systems when you visit the website. This is mainly technical data (e.g. Internet browser, operating system or time of the page call). This data is collected automatically once you enter our website.
What do we use your data for?
Part of the data is collected to ensure that the website is error-free. Other data can be used to analyse your user behaviour.
What rights do you have in relation to your data?
You have the right to obtain information about the origin, recipient and purpose of your stored personal data at any time and at no cost. You also have the right to request the rectification, blocking or erasure of this data. You can contact us at any time at the address given in the site notice for this and other issues on the subject of data protection. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
You also have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances. For details, please refer to the privacy policy under “Right to restriction of processing”.
2. General and mandatory information
Data protection
This website’s operators take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in line with statutory data protection regulations as well as this privacy policy.
Various types of personal data will be collected when you use this website. Personal data is data with which you can be personally identified. This privacy policy explains which data we collect and the purpose for which we use it. It also explains how and for what purpose this is done.
We would like to point out that there can be security breaches with the transmission of data over the Internet (e.g. communication by email). Complete protection of the data against access by third parties is not possible.
Information about the Data Controller
The data controller for the data processing on this website is:
Grüner Systemtechnik GmbH & Co. KG
Industriestraße 10
D-73337 Bad Überkingen
Tel.: +49 (0) 73 34 74-
Email: info@gruener-systemtechnik.de
The Controller is the natural or legal person who alone or jointly with others decides on the purposes and means of processing personal data (e.g. names, email addresses, etc.).
Withdrawal of your consent for data processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can withdraw already given consent. An informal email notification to us will suffice for this purpose. The legality of the data processing carried out until the withdrawal remains unaffected thereby.
Right to object to the collection of data in specific cases and to direct marketing (Art. 21 GDPR)
Where the data processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions. The respective legal basis upon which processing is based can be found in this privacy policy. If you lodge an objection, we will no longer process your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling reasons deserving of protection for the processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing is for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims (objection under Art. 21(1) GDPR).
If we process your personal data for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data for the purposes of such advertising. This also applies to profiling, where it is associated with such direct marketing. If you object, your personal data will subsequently no longer be used for the purpose of direct marketing (objection under Art. 21 (2) GDPR).
Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
In the event of infringements of the GDPR, data subjects shall have a right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of their habitual residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement. The right to lodge a complaint is without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy.
Right to data portability
You have the right to receive the data that we have processed through automated processing on the basis of your consent or in the performance of a contract or to have it transmitted to a third party, all in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. Where you request the direct transmission of the data to another controller, this will only be done if it is technically feasible.
SSL or TLS encryption
This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or enquiries that you send to us as the site operator. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the change in the browser address line from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line.
If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Information, blocking, erasure and rectification
Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right to free information at any time about your stored personal data, its origin and recipient and the purpose of data processing and, if applicable, a right to rectification, blocking or erasure of this data. You can contact us at any time at the address given in the site notice regarding this and other questions on the subject of personal data.
Right to restrict processing
You have the right to demand the restriction of processing of your personal data. You can contact us regarding this at any time at the address given in the site notice. The right to restriction of processing exists in the following cases:
- We will usually need time for verification should you dispute the accuracy of your personal data that we hold. You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data for the duration of the review.
- Where your personal data has been or is being processed unlawfully, you can request the restriction of data processing instead of erasure.
- Should we no longer need your personal data, but you need it for the exercise, defence or establishment of legal claims, you have the right to request restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of erasure.
- If you have lodged an objection under Art. 21 (1) DSGVO, a balancing of your and our interests must be carried out. As long as no determination of the prevailing interests has yet been made, you have the right to demand the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
In the event of the restriction of the processing of your personal data, this data may only be processed – with the exception of its storage – with your consent or for the purpose of the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims or protecting the rights of another natural person or legal entity or on the grounds of an important public interest of the Union or a Member State.
Objection to advertising emails
Objection is hereby made to the use of contact data published within the framework of the obligation to carry a site notice for the transmission of advertising and information material not expressly requested. The website operators expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, for example through spam emails.

Cookies
Some of the websites use so-called cookies. Cookies do not damage your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our website more user-friendly, more effective and safer. Cookies are small text files which are set on your computer and stored by your browser.
Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your terminal until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognise your browser during your next visit.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, accept cookies for certain cases or generally exclude them and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. Deactivation of cookies may result in the restriction of this website’s functionality.
Cookies which are necessary for the execution of the electronic communication process or for the provision of certain functions you desire (e.g. shopping basket function), are stored on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies for the technically error-free and optimised provision of its services. If other cookies (e.g. cookies for the analysis of your surfing behaviour) are stored, these are treated separately in this privacy policy.
Server log files
The website provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
- Browser type and version
- Operating system used;
- Referrer URL
- Accessing computer’s host name;
- Time of the server request;
- IP address;
This data will not be merged with other data sources.
This data is collected on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimisation of its website and the server log files must be recorded for this purpose.
Contact form
If you send us enquiries via the contact form, we will store your details from the enquiry form, including the contact details you have provided there, for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up enquiries. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
The processing of the data entered in the contact form is therefore based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw this already given consent. An informal email notification to us will suffice for this purpose. The legality of the data processing procedures carried out until the withdrawal remains unaffected thereby.
We will retain the data you enter into the contact form until you request us to delete it, withdraw your consent to store it or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after the completion of your enquiry’s processing). Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.
